Another of
Silva's passions is designing and building homes. After
working a short stint at Architectural Magazine, Silva secured a
general contractor license and began creating stylish and
elegant homes for herself and her clients.
In addition,
Silva ventured into the real estate industry and sold over 1
million dollars in property within the first 3 months and
totaled 5 million dollars in sales within her first year.
Silva is a member of United States Green Building Council,
Builders without Borders and the Green Community council.

It was Silva's personal success in property
development that led to the creation of her life development
training programs. Using the metaphor of "building healthy &
wealthy lifestyles" Silva now delivers workshops, training courses
and personal consulting all across the globe.

In 1998 Silva founded the non-profit
organization, The
Passion and Dreams Funding, Inc. focused on
improving
the quality of life for women and children at risk.
As Founder and CEO, Silva works to
empower these women and children to start
over, build
their self-esteem, secure safe housing and create
financial independence.
Silva believes that by building lives
through building bridges we can begin to break the cycle of
poverty, abuse & homelessness in our society.
Her
mission with

is for each woman and child at risk to have the opportunity to
realize their hopes and dreams. |
Silva’s humanitarian spirit is also
witnessed by her involvement in a number of leading global
organizations including the International Woman’s Forum
based in London, the Youth Empowerment Summit of the United
Nations, the Employment
Development Department and the
Salvation Army.
